Pitillos' wide-fit women's shoes are designed for one very specific purpose: to give your feet the space they need to move freely. Because not all feet fit a standard last, and that shouldn't mean sacrificing style or putting up with discomfort. We design wide, well-balanced lasts that allow the foot to rest naturally, restoring the pleasure of walking without having to think about your shoes.
How do we make our wide-fit shoes?
At Pitillos, we understand that every foot is unique and that standard lasts can often cause unnecessary discomfort. That's why we have designed a specific range that offers extra width in critical areas, allowing the foot to rest naturally.
We're not talking about "one size up" here, but about a design created from scratch for feet that need more space:
• Wide, ergonomic last, which intelligently distributes volume and eliminates friction points.
• Very flexible natural leathers, which adapt to the shape of the foot without squeezing or compromising support.
• Adjustable fastenings such as Velcro, elastic, or zippers, ideal for feet that swell throughout the day.
• Smooth, seamless interior, to prevent chafing even after many hours of wear.
Are Pitillos' wide-fit shoes recommended if I use orthotic insoles?
Yes. Our wide-fit women's shoes feature padded, removable insoles that you can replace with your own orthotic insoles if you use them.
How to choose wide-fit shoes for wide feet
If you want to get it right the first time, keep these key points in mind:
• Natural leather or suede: they adapt to your foot with wear and temperature.
• Round or square toe, so your toes aren't squeezed.
• Adjustable fastenings (laces or Velcro), ideal if your feet swell in the afternoon.
• Flexible soles, which allow for a natural stride and prevent strain.
What does "wide last" really mean?
A wide-last shoe isn't always wider on the outside; instead, it offers more space inside. It is specially designed for:
• Wide feet.
• Feet with bunions.
• Feet with a high instep.
• People who need more comfort throughout the day.
